In partnership with the MIT, the Embassy of France in the United States and the Consulate General of France in Boston will organize a conference to discuss the economic impacts of climate change. Over the past several years, the world has experienced rising sea levels, extreme drought, heavy storms, wildfires and other indicators of climate change with increasing frequency and intensity. These events emphasize the growing threats posed by climate change and urgent need for action.

Lynn M. Russell is a Professor of Atmospheric Chemistry at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography. Her research interests are in aerosol composition, aerosol-cloud interactions, and aerosol evolution in the troposphere.
