My research focus is environmental sustainability in the fast-urbanization context. I use real estate/housing/land prices to reveal people's preference parameters for clean air, green space and other environmental amenities; I also examine the interplay between urban form and energy consumption; I also study the avoidance behaviors against pollution, and the social costs of air pollution (sentiment, and the loss of social interactions).
