Current Forum
The MIT Global Change Forum invites representatives of industry, government, NGOs and research groups to discuss the evolving science and policy of the climate issue. The Forum is designed to promote interaction among disparate stakeholders and provides an informal, "off-the-record" setting for independent assessment of studies and policy proposals.
Forum XXX will be held March 23-25, 2010, in Arlington, Virginia.
The theme of the meeting will be Features of the Road from Copenhagen: Science, Technology and Economics.
Discussion sessions are being planned to focus on:
- Evolving Views of the Threat
- Regional Climate Risks
- Developments in Land Use
- Technological Prospects: Electric Generation
- Technological Prospects: Energy Use, and
- Emerging National and International Policy Architecture.
Forum attendance is by invitation only.
